St. John’s has a long tradition of beautiful vocal and instrumental music that enhance the worship experience each Sunday and on the great feasts of the church year. Newcomers are always welcome in the various singing groups.

Parish Choir

Rehearsals: Thursdays at 7, Sundays at 9:15
The Parish Choir sings at the 10am service most Sunday mornings from September to June, on major feast days, and at occasional Choral Evensongs.  Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm, and at 9:15 on Sunday mornings.  New singers are always welcome!

 

Other Music Events at Saint John’s

Throughout the year concerts are presented at St. John’s by other choral and instrumental groups.  Many of the concerts feature students from colleges located in the Pioneer Valley.  The community is always invited to these events and many are presented without charge. A free will offering is often suggested to help defray the church’s costs (lights, heat, etc.) for making these concerts possible.
